Over the summer holidays we are offering both members and non-members of HGC the chance to complete a British Gymnastics Badge. The British Gymnastics Proficiency awards scheme has been discontinued and HGC are currently in the process of implementing a new badge scheme for all our members.

If you have started the British Gymnastics Proficiency awards badge scheme and would like your child to achieve their next badge we are offering pay as you go badge testing classes over the summer holidays. This will be your last chance to complete a badge under the British Gymnastics Proficiency Badge scheme as we are hoping to implement a new scheme later on this year. 

Each badge has 10 skills for the gymnast to work on, and if they complete the skills they will be awarded a certificate at the end of the session. 

If your child has done a British Gymnastics badge before (either at HGC or at another club) then you can book into a 1 hour badge testing class to be assessed on your next badge. 

If your child has not done a British Gymnastics badge before you can book a 1 hour badge testing session, and we will advise on which badge would be best for your child to start on. 

Gymnasts need to be attending full time school to attend a badge testing class.

The badges start with number 8 (aimed at 5/6 year olds ) and continue to badge number 1.

Once they have completed badge 1 they can move on to Bronze, Silver and Gold badges. 

Badge Testing classes are £17 each.

This price includes the 1 hour gymnastics class as well as the certificate and badge.

Payment will need to be made upon booking the session. Once booked the session payment is non-refundable and non-transferable.
