Artistic England Squad Selection 2015

In March this year at the English Championships Isobel Hilliard finished a fantastic 11th place. Due to her performance and execution of skills, she was invited and offered a place in the English Gymnastics Squad for Artistic Gymnastics.

A place in the England squad means she gets to train with other top gymnasts and coaches from around the country and also may get the opportunity to compete for England in international competitions in places like Belgium and Russia.

Isobel is the current Sussex Champion and also finished in silver medal position at the South East Regional Championships. She has also competed in two Espoire British Championships in Scotland where she gained some much needed experience.

Isobel is currently working towards the Junior British Championships which is a high level elite competition. This will take a lot of hard work and dedication but since she's always shown plenty of that to get where she is now, we have every faith that she will continue to succeed at the highest level with her gymnastics.

We wish her all the best.

Scarlett Tidy competed at the British Espoir Challenge Cup 2015 at Guildford Spectrum last weekend. This was Scarlett's first Challenge Cup and she competed with a great deal of confidence against a very high class field of gymnasts. Scarlett completed a clean competition with an all around score of 41.350, putting her in the middle section of the 80 competing gymnasts. Scarlett's beam score also placed her just outside the top 20 for this piece of apparatus. This was a good experience for Scarlett which she can now build upon ready for next year.
