We are pleased to announce that this year’s Club Championships will take place on Sunday 12th July 2026.

This competition is only held once a year and is aimed predominantly at our recreational gymnasts who are HGC members and attend 1hr, 1.5hr & 2hr Classes. Due to the limit on numbers for this event, we are not able to accept any entries from gymnasts attending pre-school or Pay-As-You-Go classes.

The event is held within our own gym and the purpose of this event is to give recreational children within the club, an opportunity to experience what it is like to compete at a gymnastics competition. It also gives them the chance to display their gymnastics skills to family and friends in a low pressure, friendly and fun environment.

All gymnasts will compete in selected groups according to age and the number of hours they train per week.

All competing gymnasts will receive a certificate, places 4th, 5th and 6th will receive a rosette and the top 3 in each category will receive an HGC medal.

We hope as many members as possible will join us at this very popular event, which will also include amazing displays at various times throughout the day from the HGC competitive squad gymnasts.

Entires will close on Sunday 28th June. 

We cannot accept any entries after this date.

Please do not pay this entry fee as part of your online BACS class fee payment.

Please note that on competition day, there will also be a separate spectator entry fee for all individuals other than competing gymnasts. Adult spectators £5, Children 5yrs & over £2, Over 60yrs & under 5yrs Free.

We would also like to inform you that souvenir photos will be on sale throughout the day, taken by a suitably accredited professional photographer, therefore please be aware that your child may be photographed during this event.

The club championships is our main fundraising event of the year and is well supported by our valued team of volunteers and coaches. All proceeds from this event are used exclusively to provide new or replace gym equipment for the benefit of all our members, we thank you in advance for your valued support.
